4th of July Primary Activity

Sarah got to be in a little 4th of July parade with her Primary class and had fun walking along next to them as they rode their bikes and Roller blades. They make her laugh, and she loves being with them.

Washington D.C. Trip

Sarah just got back from a 2 week trip to Washington D.C. with her family. They had a ton of fun being together. They toured the Capital building, White House, and Library of Congress. They went to a lot of museums and did TONS of walking in the hot humid weather. After seeing everything, and learning more about U.S. History it made her really grateful and blessed to be able to live in this land of Freedom.Sarah discovered she is the same height as Martha Washington!

At the Marine museum, the backpack they have to carry around was really heavy and hard to lift

What we do on Sundays... :)

Our Sundays are rather exciting, full of love, laughter and learning about the wonderful gospel we are a part of. Sarah teaches the 9 and 10 year olds and Katelyn helps her mom with the 4 and 5 year olds. Its a blast to see the reaction on the kids face as they learn about things like the priesthood, prayer and recieveing blessings. You get a wonderful feeling when you hear their stories, they really know a lot and to see the love they have for our Savior Jesus Chrsit is just a wonderful way start to the day :)

Nickelback Concert

Kate was able to go see Sick Pupies, Shinedown, Breaking Benjamin and Nickelback with some family and friends from high school. It was a BLAST! They are AMAZING live. If you ever get a chance to see them I highly recommend it :) She had so much fan dancing and singing the night away! It was great to be able to get together with everyone and go enjoy some good music :)

Here Comes Goodbye...Only For a Little While

The year has come to an end. We have had many adventures and experiences and have made such amazing friends. Some of our friends we had to say goodbye to for a few years, others we will be reunited with in August!

Kate and Sarah will be states away from each other for the coming months and have decided to continue updating the blog. Both will add posts about things they are doing while away from each other and then in August will start up again about new crazy adventures together!

Kate is back in Wisconsin with her Family!!!! Lots of stuff has been planned for this summer and will be blogged about as they happen.

Sarah is back in Provo with her Family!!!! She has already spent the weekend catching up with her family and is excited for vacations coming up that she can blog about.

Adventures of the Boxes...

Kate had to ship her boxes home...the challenge was

1. try to pack everything into three boxes

2. get them all taped up

3. find the post office

Well the first one got accomplished, but she got to the last box and ran out of tape. This is when our last adventure of the year began...First we had to get all of these:

down to the car...

then we had to get the tape

Success!

Kate taped them all up while Sarah documented:

Then we had to find the post office...yeah um pretty much failed at that...

After getting lost twice we decided to let a man drive the boxes because we have learned that men are so much better at directions at finding things then we are. We always end up lost and laughing. So Mike came to the rescue and took Sarah's place successfully getting the boxes shipped off across America. :)
