Homecoming Weekend!!!

Kate and Steve

Sarah and Collin
The boys went out for a little bit while we got ready.  They came back to pick us up and had gotten us flowers :)  Earlier that week Steve broke Kates scissors and decided to buy her new ones and put them in the bouquet- we had the BEST dates ever <3
We had so much fun together helping each other get all beautified and dressed up :)
Our wonderful roommates + Rikki
The after-math of homecoming... our dorm was SUCH a mess afterwords. It will get cleaned up....eventually

For football games the students get in free so we only had to buy 2 tickets for the boys, which with fees and everything would have been about 40 bucks total.  When we got in line to buy them a lady asked us how many we needed, she had 3 extra tickets by chance so she just gave them to us! Such a blessing and we were so excited to be able to save 40 $ lol
GO AGGIES!!

We love this picture.  When we got there it was just chilly and overcast.  Well mother nature decided to make it interesting and have it rain and get super cold.  It wasn't to bad in the beginning.... but slowly you could feel the water absorbing into your pants and starting at your butt and going down your leg.  So by the end of the 2nd quarter we were done.  We were soaked through our jackets and blankets and our butts were completely numb.  At least we tried right? (notice how all the people in the picture before are GONE, we were one of the few people left in the stands lol)
so cold but so fun :)
In Logan they have this restaurant called Angie's.  They do this thing where they give you a sink full of ice cream and if you eat it all you get a nifty bumper sticker.  WE DID IT! Felt kinds sick after but it was such a blast!

WE DID IT! woooohooooh :)

Paint Dance

It is Homecoming week here at Utah State and there are a lot of stuff going on here on campus.  There is a tradition here where the clubs on campus all get together on campus main street and paint the street.  Each club gets a certain square of street that they can paint something on.  We walked down the street while all of the clubs were painting on our way to the paint dance.  It was pretty chilly that night and so we didn't stay long at the dance because it was outside, and by the time we arrived all of the paint was out.  We met up with our friend Steven and he was covered in paint. We needed a little warming up and so we headed back to our apartment and had a little hot chocolate. :)

Talk about a BUSY yet absolutly WONDERFUL week!

Steve and Tommy came to visit Kate before Tommy had to report to the MTC (Mission Training Center) that wednesday.  Kate was STOKED to see them and so grateful that they made it safe :)  This is at the track- it was super hot that day!

Tommy couldn't leave without having the worlds famous Aggie Ice Cream!

Our midnight run to taco bell :)
We were able to visit with out friend Hillary at Olive garden!

On wednesday Steve dropped Tommy off in Provo.  He will be going to Singapore for the next to years :) GOOD LUCK ELDER AIKENS!!! we love ya!

We decided to take a little vacation to Lava Hot Springs :)  They are basically natural hot tubs.  They get hot from the ground.  There were three pools and the hottest was about 110 degrees.  Sarah s friend Rachel came to visit for the weekend also :)

They had this awesome swimsuit dryer thing lol it wasn't very easy to use.....

Sarah and Collin waiting their turn :)

We stopped at a little restaurant after and had some delicious food
Later that afternoon we carved pumpkins! (Kate and Steve)

Tie-Dye

We have looked forward for this since the very first week of school, Tie Dying!!! We finally got to, we made it out to do it just in time and as soon as we had finished dying our clothes it started pouring rain. We were so relieved to be one of the few who had finished before the down pour. :D

Thanks to Sam our roommate for taking this picture, it is the only picture proving that we were doing it. It is the backside of Sarah in the checkered blue shirt, and the backside of Katelyn in the maroon shirt. :)
