Fight Cancer!

So USU is having a competition against BYU to see who can raise more money for the fight against cancer.  We thought this was so cool and something we wanted to participate in! So we got these awesome shirts and 100% for the money goes towards cancer, AND its against BYU so that is more of a motivation wanting to beat them lol.  As we did this we thought about how cancer has affected some of our friends and family.  Its hard watching someone fight through cancer and wishing you could just snap your fingers and cure them.  There are many ways we can help, even simple things can make a difference. CANCER SUCKS so help fight cancer and donate :)

talk about an AWESOME day!

SO this day was pretty much amazing. where to start?? WELL

#1.  Kate went to class in the morning and had a great time because she was suppose to take an exam today but it got moved all the way to next wednesday!! woo hooooo! major stress reliever.

#2.  Sarah didn't have to go to class so she was able to sleep in and be lazy.

#3.  We accomplished one of our projects: the missionary wall!! We have a map and got pictures of all of our friends that are serving a mission all around the world.  We connected string from their picture to the country they are serving in.  It look GREAT and it was so exciting to see it all finished after having the map sit on the wall for 5 weeks without pictures

(L to R)  Sam- was suppose to go to Brazil but is still having problems with getting his visa so he is in West Virginia for now until his visa comes in.  Steve- he hasn't left yet but he will be going to Portugal. Tate- Ukraine.  Mike- Philippines. Trevor-Ukraine
(L to R) Isaac- He is leaving next week for Brazil but has to wait for his visa also... David-Cape Verde (Africa) Tommy- He leaves in two weeks for Singapore!
(Top to Bottom) Justin- Detroit Michigan.  Specialist Phillips- Hawaii (he is in the Army)  Bretton- Arcadia, California.  Tyler- Peru

#4.  Exactly 7 DAYS till Steve and Tommy drive out and visit for a few weeks :D

#5.  We were getting stressed and exhausted from all of our homework and exams this week so we decided to take some pictures...... so fun :)

Kate looks like a total creeper!

Sarah is aspiring to be a model one day :)

Total model material! lol

no model material... lol

that fan is nuts...

#6.  Its a new month!! Which means I can change the calender that Sarah gave me for my birthday! This month will defiantly be a great one!! There are so many fun things planned we are sooooo excited :) AND we got this coupon for these delicious chocolates  we love to snack on :) its all about saving money in college right?? (tacked under the calender so we don't forget about it lol)

#7.  Right before we were going to leave for dinner we had an unexpected visitor!! Isaac Hales!! He is one of our good friends from last year who is leaving for his mission to Brazil on Wednesday.  It was a total surprise- and it was great to see him one more time before he left.  What a coincidence we just finished the map earlier that day.. :)

#8.  And overall today was SUCH a beautiful day! Sunny and warm with the canyon breeze... perfect!

#9. We have made it to the middle of the week, only 2 more days until the weekend!!!!!

#10. We've both had this song stuck in our head without even knowing each other had it stuck in our head! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmXQFwlD7vk

O college how i love you!!

Yes this is how many missionaries we are writing, not counting the ones we have to e-mail, and by the end of the year there will be 2 more added to the list.  We are definitely going to get blessed in heaven for this. :D

Relief Society General Conference

We both got tickets to go to the General Relief Society meeting for our church in Salt Lake, and Collin was nice enough to drive us down for it.  We were able to listen to speakers and the prophet of our church speak.  We got to sing hymns along with about 21,000 other woman and it was incredible.  It was Katelyn's first time at a big meeting in the Conference Center and it was such a cool experience for her to see and experience it all.  We met up with Sarah's mom and aunt after and went out to dinner with them, and then headed back up to Logan late that night.

Slurpies??

SOO. Collin has a friend at the gas station that he likes to get slurpies from at like 11 at night.  So Collin took us and our friend Kendrick to go get one.  Katelyn for some reason had a difficult time pouring one and so when Collin tried to show her the "right way to make a slurpie"but he failed miserably.  He sprayed slurpie ALL OVER the floor, walls, Kate and Kendricks awesome green shoes.  Of course little miss Sarah didn't get red slurpie splashed on her one bit some how.  Anyways we started cleaning up the mess and our gas station friend wasn't very happy.  And he got really angry every time we said sorry lol it was weird. so for the rest of the night we were trying to get the stains out of our clothes.. we were able to get Kates clothes clean but Kendricks shoes were a different story...  it never really came out.
