Christmas Card

 Finals week is tough.  Stress is high, and studying gets old really fast.  So as roommates we decided it was important that we loosen up a little bit one night, and take our Christmas Card pictures. 

We each found random pieces from each other's wardrobes...turned the timer on the camera...

 and just took picture

 until we couldn't come up with anymore poses

 and then we sat at the computer and went through billions of Christmas card layouts on the Wal-mart website

ordered them, picked them up, and hand delivered them to all of the rooms on our floor (which only consists of boys, if they didn't already think we were crazy they do now).  Then we all sent one to our families!

 A little while ago Katelyn thought it would be hilarious to tie Sarah to her bed using her robe...

Well little did Katelyn know when while she was gone in Wisconsin Sarah was busily filling her bed and drawers with Newspaper...

 Well of course when she found all of it her reaction was a little more than just this...

So she retaliated and did this...

Sunshine After a Hard Weekend

So this past weekend I was able to go home for Steves Farewell.  I had a blast but it was hard to say goodbye knowing the next time I would see him would be in 2 years.  So the girls decorated my room and had this beautiful bouquet of flowers with a sweet card waiting for me when I got back.  The best part was walking in and having all 5 of my girls run and give me the biggest hugs. I really needed that.  I love them and are so grateful to have them as not only roommates but best friends.

Sending Christmas To Our Missionaries!!

We spent the whole afternoon making homemade Christmas cards for all of our friends out on missions and giving them their monthly update about what has been going on at school.  It was really fun being crafty and decorating, it defiantly put us in the Christmas mood! :) Hoping this next week goes by fast so we can take our finals and head home for the holidays! <3  Merry Christmas to our friends all around the WORLD! We love you and are so proud of you :)

Christmas Time Is Here!!

So basically the moment we all got back from Thanksgiving Break we all started decorating the apartment with all the decorations we brought from home and there were A LOT, so we blasted the Christmas music and began.....

Christmas Elves Visited!!!!

 Katelyn's side of the bedroom needed a little more Christmas Spirit so.... Santa sent his Elves (in the form of Sarah and Melissa) to "Christmasey" it up while she was away at Track practice. ;)  When she got back she found this...

Well I guess she wanted to even out the Christmas spirit or something because Sarah found these hanging above her bed when she got back from dinner.  

I think we are officially decorated and ready for Christmas around here in apt. 217 now! :)

We decided our bathroom needed a little decoration...

Anne of Green Gables Marathon

We had nothing to do today so we had the crazy idea to watch all of the Anne of Green Gables movies.  We had no idea what we were getting ourselves into...

We started the movie at 2:00 in the afternoon and kept it playing straight (no breaks) and it ended at 12:35 in the morning! Equaling 10.5 hours of t.v.

We've all decided that we want to wear our hair like Anne from now on.  We LOVE her volume, all through the movie Kate expressed how extremely jealous she was of her hair. :D

The odd thing was is we all were really loving the movies they were just SO long! We even had pizza delivered to us so we could keep watching.

Yes we know we look pretty stoned...give us a break this was at about 7 hrs of watching!!!

The ending literally brought tears to Katelyn's eyes and we all clapped with joy when it was over. After the t.v. was shut off Cynthia excitedly says "We should watch My Fair Lady"  instantly Sam was on her knees begging her not to turn on the t.v. for a VERY long time. :D

We are now on an Anne of Green Gables fast for the next 10.5 years, a year for every hour we watched it. But we all love Anne with an "e" and are so extremely grateful Gilbert and her ended up together. :)
